SYNTACTIC FEATURES OF PROVERBS WITH PHYTONOMICAL COMPONENTS IN THE UZBEK, TAJIK AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the syntactic organization of Uzbek, Tajik and English paremiological units with phytonymic components with subordinate clause structure of a sentence to identify their specific and universal features.Based on a comparative analysis, universal and ethnospecific features of the syntactic organization of proverbs, designed in the form of complex sentences, are identified. It has been established that in the Uzbek and Tajik languages constructions with clauses of condition, time and consequence, as well as past tense forms, predominate, whereas in English these constructions occur rather seldom. The differences in the means of syntactic communication are shown, reflecting the peculiarities of the linguacultural traditions of the compared languages. The obtained results expand the understanding of the typology of syntactic models of proverbs and confirm the dependence of the grammatical organization of proverbs on extralinguistic factors. The research materials can be used in comparative linguistics, linguacultural studies and the practice of teaching foreign languages.
