The article notes that non-verbal communication in Tajik speech etiquette is one of the most important problems of Tajik linguistics. The contribution of foreign scientists to the study of the features of non-verbal communication is revealed. Based on the works of specialists, the features of non-verbal communication in Tajik speech etiquette are analyzed, the degree of study of the topic is considered, the means of establishing non-verbal communication in this process and the role of human organs, actions and movements, including facial expressions, smiles, winks, gestures are investigated. For the first time, the existence of historical traditions of non-verbal communication in Tajik speech etiquette has been proven. The types of non-verbal communication have been defined, its moral specificity and national identity have been shown.
