The article notes that the concept of “omuzish” (study), associated with the process of acquiring knowledge, occupies a central place in the Tajik linguistic picture of the world, reflecting spiritual and collectivist values.The phraseological embodiment of the concept "omuzish" in the Tajik language is studied in comparison with its English equivalents, its semantic, figurative and value characteristics, as well as their cultural specificity. The cognitive-linguistic methodology is used, integrating the theory of conceptual analysis and the comparative method. The analysis reveals the dominance of metaphors of light, path, mentorship and treasure in Tajik phraseological units, which contrasts with the pragmatic orientation of English equivalents. The results demonstrate the cultural specificity of the Tajik conceptualization of education, which emphasizes hierarchy, spirituality, and collective responsibility.
