METAPHOR AND ITS TYPES IN NAZIR NISHOPURI`S GAZELS

Abstract

The article dwells on peculiarities of a metaphor and its types in Nazir Nishopuri`s collection of gazels. Proceeding from the theoretical analysis of simile art and ruminations of scholars and researches of rhetorics the author determines its terminological gyst and its types on the basis of this classification he uses the devices of Nazir Nishopuri modelling and the role of this art in perfection of its artistic aspects. The analysis shows that in Nazir Nishopuri`s works there occur different kinds of metaphor and its analogies. Though the influence of hardly understandable, complex and far fetched metaphors in the poetry of Indian versificators scientists associate with complexity of sense and poetical style, the author, designing on the premise of the analysis concerned with Naziri`s poetry and the art of metaphor, proves that his creation is bereft of this sort of descriptions. His metaphors were moulded with observance of all rules and rendered a deep sway over the perfection of the poet`s belles-lettres creation.
