The article dwells on a comparative-correlative study of individual-authorial transformations of phraseological units. Illustrative sources of the article are the following literary productions: the novel "Gadfly" by E.L. Voynich, the novel "Martin Iden" by Jack London in English, the works by Sotim Ulugzade "Vose" and "The Morning of Our Youth" in Tajik. The analysis of transformed phraseological units was carried out according to the classification proposed by A.M. Melerovich and V.M. Mokienko. The author moves also the principle of division of the methods of transformation in regard to phraseological units into basic and additional ones. Transformed phraseological units are analyzed through such devices as substitution of the components of phraseological units, expansion of component al composition, contamination, agglutination, ellipsis, author's aphorisms formed on the basis of phraseological units.
