The article reflects the history of the Organization on Security and Cooperation of Europe, the process of its development and formation. The historiography of cooperation between TR and OSCE is highlighted. The author analyzes the works of the Tajik scientists dwelling on Tajikistan Republic cooperation with this international organization. It is underscored that initially the issue on the prospects of Tajikistan Republic cooperation – with OSCE as a self-sufficient scientific-explorative goal wasn`t singled out being considered in the context of separate problems of geopolitics. The author makes a conclusion that the literature published in the first decade of the XXI-st century laid an inception to the historiography of the cooperation between Tajikistan and OSCE in Europe.
