Somatisms in the Idioms of Kamol Khujandi`s Poetry

Abstract

The article dwells on the role of somatisms in a formation of idioms in the Tajik language. The poetry of one of the glorious representatives of the Persian-Tajik literature Kamol Khujandi is selected as a source of the lexemes in question. Having analyzed the poet`s gazels under lexico-semantic and stylistic angles the author conveys the opinion that phrases and poetic expressions with designation of internal and external organs of s human body are used appropriately, skillfully and some of them have preserved their shades of meaning up to nowadays being tangible in Modern Tajik. Тhe study and analysis of the language subtleties of the poet being a means of his style and mastership concretization afford to elicit Kamol Khujandi`s contribution into the development and perfection of the literary language.
