Abstract

The author makes an endeavor to conduct an analysis of the place of terms and notions inherent in Indian mysticism and culture in Bedils “Divan”. Proceeding from the poet`s studied creation, he makes a conclusion that Bedil`s mystical views sustained a great influence on the part of Indian intellectual and philological trends and schools. It is testified by abundant use of terms and notions appertaining to Indian mysticism and philosophy Bedil resorted to. Profound knowledge of Indian philosophy and mysticism afforded Bedil to create new poetical and mystical images as well as senses in his literary productions; the fact being an evidence of his outstanding poetic talent and extraordinarily interesting philosophic-mystical tenet.
