The article, based on the poems of Rahim Jalil, published in periodicals in the 30-40s of the twentieth century, including in the newspapers “Stakhanovchi”, “Kolkhozchi”, “Bo rohi Lenini”, “Proletari Khujand”, analyzes the poetic skill of the writer and artistic features of his poetic heritage. It is noted that a number of poems by Rahim Jalil were found in periodicals that were not included in his poetry collections published later. It is emphasized that the poetic skill of Rahim Jalil and the artistic features of his poems have not become the subject of separate study until today. An attempt has been made to study the artistic features of the newly discovered poems of Rahim Jalil, published in periodicals of the thirties, which have not yet been available to researchers. It is emphasized that in some of the writer’s poems, composed in the 30-40s, there are violations of the metric of the verse. It is concluded that most of the poems of the period under review glorify the happy life of people in the Soviet era and glorify the unprecedented achievements of the Tajik people.
