The article analyzes the phraseological-semantic field denoting “human activity” in English and Tajik languages. Its particular focus is phraseological-semantic micro-fields of poly-semantic phraseological units, determining their equivalent level and their analysis in novels. The result of analysis proved that most poly-semantic phraseological units are partially equivalent in two compared languages. Some poly-semantic phraseological units are connected with national and local traditions and customs, and so they do not have an equivalent in the other language. However, they are united by a common semantics, so they are included in the same semantic field.
