The article reviews Ahmadjon Rahmatzod`s poems thematically and artistically. It is underscored that Ahmadjon Rahmatzod`s poems have not become the object of separate consideration up to date, although they have a particular place in modern Tajik literature. However, literary critique has not paid them special attention yet. While analyzing thematico-belles-letters peculiarities of Ahmadjon Rahmatzod’s poems, the author divides them into four groups. It is noted that the poet was engaged in writing poems from the first days of entering the literary arena and does not abandon this difficult task until today. It is concluded that Ahmadjon Rahmatzod shows remarkable mastership in his poems in the depiction of outstanding personalities - representatives of science and literature in the reflection of tragic events of the nineties of the 20th century, strengthening the sense of patriotism, unity and cohesion of the people aimed at the performance of their self-awareness growth.
