The Word " Gavhar" (Pearl) and its Role in the Creation of "Tatpurusha" Composite Type in Bedil's Poetry

Abstract

The article dwells on the studied word-building peculiarities of the word "gavhar" (pearl) in the creation of (tatpurusha) type composite in Mirzo Bedil's poetry. It is underscored that in Mirzo Bedil's creation there exist a number of lexemes often occured in the poet's work secondly, the poet forms a lot of composites together with them. It is determined that one of the key words of Bedil's poems is the word "gavhar" (pearl). The given word has many meanings in the Tajik language, being polysemantic. An endeavor is made to elicit to what meaning of the word "gavhar" the poet payed intent attention. It is cleared out that Bedil created composites with three variants of words: gavhar // guhar// chavhar, but at the same time he coints multitudes of composites with the help of the contracted variant - guhar. The material collected has been analyzed from the point of view of the relations between components and parts of speech; the explanation is given that the model "noun plus stem of the Present tense of the verb" form multitude of components. The composites created by the poet have several specifities: in the first, they occur in several variants; in the second, there is semantic connection between them; in the third, some of them are the creations of Bedil himself.
