Avtors

Nurmatova, Maksuda Ruziboyevna

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of sensible and grammatical structure of verbal phraseological units in modern Tajik language. It is underscored that when determining syntactical functions they take  into consideration the form and semantics of conjugable and non-conjugable verbs. The author notes that in the course of time some verbal phraseological units become scantily used and acquire archaic peculiarities. Verbal phraseological units in the form of an infinitive word-combination can perform different functions in a sentence. One of the specificities of verbal phraseological units is their performance of the predicate function in a sentence irrespective of a degree of its usage in diverse styles. Into the bargain, some VPhUs can be used both in affirmative and negative forms. In belles-lettres the majority of the formers are occurred concurrently with lexical equivalents or with other VPhUs.
