Occasionalisms in Farzona`s «Divan»

Avtors

Ganizoda Savriniso

Abstract

A certain number of occasionalisms from Farzona`s “Divan” showed that the poetess created diverse examples of this linguistic phenomenon which enrich the lexical stock of the Tajik language. Well-known interpretation dictionaries were involved having helped determine the fact that new coinages resulted from the poetess` creative imagination.

The new words correspond to the traditional classical model when a rhematic part is actualized from semantic interpretation. The newly-born lexical units express onomasiological categories, the tokens of person, subject and action.

Keywords

occasionalism, Farzona`s “Divan”, usual and occasional senses, idiomatization, theme, rhyme, onomasiological category, onomasiological structure
