The article dwells on English and Tajik analytical forms in the system of the category of voice. It is pointed out that a direction of action may be centripetal or centrifugal. It is mentioned that the category of voice is formed as a result of contrast of analytical and synthetic forms. The author notes that respective of verb valency, the Passive form can be one-member, two-members and three-members one. The analysis of examples in two languages shows that one-member and two-members Passive forms are inherent in both languages while the three-members form is used only in English. It is underscored that English Passive form may consist of 3-5 meaningful components while Tajik Passive form may have 5 – 8 ones.
