Avtors

Egamnazarov Hamza Haqnazarovich

Abstract

The article under consideration dwells on the study of the terms beset with kinship and blood affinity in Uzbek and English languages. Some issues of comparative study dealing with the lexicon of languages of different grammar structures are considered by the author of the article. The author elicits the substantial plan of lexico-sematic terms of kinship and blood affinity referring to feminine sex in comparative languages. The meanings of kinship and blood affinity in reference to feminine persons both in Uzbek and English are divided into two groups: a) meanings of kinship of feminine persons in pursuance with direct line; b) meanings of kinship of feminine person in pursuance with lateral line. In the course of the research the author distinguished two groups of methodological approaches: 1) semasiological; 2) onomasiological. Particular attention is paid to the importance of an application of componential method of study dealing with the terms of kinship and blood affinity in the languages of different structure as well.
