The Language and Style of “Khamsa” by Nizami Ganjavi from the Point of View of the Iranists of the East and the West

Avtors

Babajanova Dilbar Abdumuminovna

Abstract

The author makes an endeavour to consider  some peculiarities of the language and style of  “Khamsa” written by the mostly well-known poet of the XII-th century Nizami Gandjavi from the viewpoints of the Iranists of the East and the West. Analyzing the works of famous literary critics of Russia, Europe, Iran, India and Tajikistan the author comes to the  conclusion that the language of “Khamsa” is a reflection of the Tajik-Persian language of  the XII-th century which functioned  at that time, especially in the area of Azerbayjan. In addition to  it, he author touches upon the discussion concerned with the existence of three styles in the Tajik-Persian poetry of that time: Khorasan Iraq and Indianones. The author makes such inference that  the studies of Nizami`s literary productions  can  promote a solution  of  many linguistic  and  literary problems referring to the  period in question.
