Nodir Shanbezoda is one of adequataly influential poets and men-of-letters of the XX-th century. Unfortunately, nothing has been known about his life, activities and contribution into the Tajik literary criticism up to now. As he is a founder of the poetry written in Shugnan, the article dwells on the analysis of his poems in the mother-tongue.
In comparison with the poetry written in Tajik that one written in mother tongue seems to be minor due to its amount. But in spite of it the poet’s heritage due to a variety of forms and a thematic range deserves special attention.
