The article dwells on the philosophical and moral views of Abuabdullo Rudaki, the founder of the Tajik-Persian literature; the author expounds his philosophical ideas, both materialistic and idealistic. It is common khowledge that Rudaki didn`t write special treatises on philosophy where his philosophical ideas would be presented logically and consecutively; nevertheless, he expressed his points of view related to the structure of the world in a bright poetical form.
Special place in his creation is devoted to such original ideas as utterances about the Universe, man and his place in the world, essence of life, time, fate, the good and the evil, the beautiful and the awful, delight and etc.
