Proceeding from the analysis of manuals in physics for comprehensive schools published for the latest years in the Tajik language the authors prove that the realities of today¢s Tajikistan are not adequately reflected in them. The authors suggest that local materials should be used for this purpose for activization of educaitional process in physics. Here refer: the names of cities and towns, rivers, mountains, hydro-electric-stations, lakes, physical and climatic factors of Tajikistan. Variants of utilization of local materials are demonstrated; composition of questions and sums in physics being delivered as an example
