Colloquial Words in Pulod Tolis’ Literary Productions

Abstract

The author of the article expounds interpretation and analysis of colloquial lexis in the literary productions by Pulod Tolis. He canvasses sensible and stylistic functions of the group of words in question in connection with the writer’s creative objective. Taking concrete sentences as examplees the author shows that a targeted usage of colloquial words and words-combinations reproduces real images in their natural character and demonstrates the people’s tenor of life. Khikmatulloyev I. N. expresses the opinion of  his own concerned with selection and use of colloquial elements, as the latters have advantage over other synonyms, because they help the writer convey his creative aims much more better; elicitation of personages, their dispositions being presented brighter in their portrayal.
