To the History of Land-Water Reform and Inception of Collective-Farm Movement in Northern Areas of Tajikistan (on the example of Jabborrasulov Nokhiya)

Abstract

Designing on the premise of archival documents and scientific literature the author considers the peculiarities of the land-water reform being conducted in northern areas of Tajikistan (Jabborrasulov nokhiya is taken as an example). He gives an assessment of the attitude to this campaign on the part of different strata of population, it is pointed that in spite of serious errors and non-minor costs beset with reform conducting it was an important stage on the way of breaking old land relations because the campaign rendered considerable affect upon social-political plight of a kishlok (village). It resulted in undermining of feudal and capitalist forms of economy running, consolidation of alliance uniting workers and peasants, confidence of the latters in the Soviet power; all these factors having been of great political importance.
