Validov were an important contribution to the study of the history of political life, diplomatic relations, and the economic state of the Kokand Khanate. There are also some valuable collections about the history of the period under study, such as the “Turkestan Collection”, which consists of 594 volumes; Colonel Serebrennikov also collected and published in 20 volumes materials regarding the conquest of the states of Central Asia by tsarism and called “Collection of materials for the history of its conquest”. All these valuable sources testify to the rich history of the Tajik people and the peoples of Central Asia during the period under study.
