The article describes a collection of jewelry of the XIX-XX centuries from the fund of the Otrar State Archaeological Museum-Reserve, located in Otrar district of Turkestan region, which is a scientific organization on the republican level, the first research and cultural and educational institution for preservation of historical monuments. It notes that at the moment, the museum stores over 25,000 exhibits related to the history, spiritual culture, traditions and customs of the ancestors of Kazakh people. It also shows the skills of Kazakh jewelers who created many women's jewelry: earrings, rings, sholpy, shashbau, clasps, necklaces, buttons, bracelets, etc. As well, it gives extensive information about women's jewelry made by masters of the 19th-20th centuries. It is emphasized that this heritage is a monument of culture and art of Kazakh people.
