Avtors

Nasriddinov F.A.

Abstract

The author takes an endeavor to study the milieu which surrounded Kamol Khujandi (poet and mystic of the XIV-th century) in real earnest. Special attention is paid to the lives and activities of the poet’s friends with whom Kamol was closely connected and whose creation hasn’t been a subject of separate research in the studies related to him. The study of the milieu in question plays a great role in a more profound exploration of the poet’s life way, outlook, mystical status and place in the formation of the science and and culture of the XIV-th century. Proceeding from the data based on authentic origins and Kamol Khujandi’s heritage, the author adduces information about the lives and creative activities of the poet’s contemporaries, such men-of-letters as: Khodja Makhmud Shashi, Mavlon Mukhammad Khalil, Nadjmuddin Forumi. Familiarization with the life description of the poet’s nearest milieu affords to shed light not only upon several episodes from Kamol Khujandi’s life, but to specify the history of composing of his certain literary productions either.
