The author proceeded from the materials of hundred fifty books registering the economy facts of the environment, acts of birth and death in regard to the rural population of Pangaz jamoat of Asht nokhiya included into Sughd viloyat for the period of 1871-2010 having turned the level and degree of regional anthroponyms usage into an object of statistical research. Resorting to the method of statistical investigation in reference to feminine names the author determined that in the course of hundred forty years all new-born children got 3397 names. This number contains 1944 male names and 1453 female ones. The research has been conducted on the ground of 140 years period divided into 14 decades: 1871-1880, 1881-1890, 1891-1910, 1911-1920, 1921-1930, 1931-1940, 1941-1950, 1951-1960, 1961-1970, 1971-1980, 1981-1990, 1991-2000, 2001-2010.
