The article dwells on the analysis of the lyrical narratives belonging to the pen of Tajik writer Bolty Ortykov published in the period of the 60-ies – the 80-ies of the XX-th century. Alongside with the problems of lyrical prose, plot lines, formation of characters` individualities, the writer`s attention is paid to mastership of depiction, peculiarities of language and style, description of landscape.
The detailed analysis results into the inference that in comparison with the previous periods of creation in the time of consideration the writer achieved certain progresses in a portrayal of personages, he intensified a psychological aspect of his productions. The author of the article has analyzed the best traditions of prose for children in Modern Tajik literature and elicited their reflection in B. Ortykov`s creation.
