The analysis of military-political events and mutual relations concerning Khorezm and Iran in the first half of the XVIII-th century is expounded in the article. Proceeding from the originals of diverse slants, written documents coming first, the author of the given work discloses the causes of unfriendly relations between Khorezm and Iran, forays and marches of Khivans and Turkmenians aimed at the territory of Khorasan. It is indicated that Merv was used as a bridgehead for effectuation of war marches to Maverannakhr. Merv area played a key role in an attainment of the goal – locomotion of Iranian troops towards Bukhara and Khiva. Reasons and order of war marches to Khorezm organized by Nadir-shakh Afshar are accounted for; the latters were rendered resistance on the part of different tribes of Khorezm (Turkmenians, Uzbeks, Arals, Yomuts and others); the most important battles between confronting parties are described; other issues being discovered as well, among them there is Nadirshakh`s general-governorship established in Khorezm.
