The article dwells on the state of feminine entrepreneurship in contemporary Tajikistan. Proceeding from the sources and scientific researches of diverse slants, the author of the article analyzes some aspects aimed at statal support of women engaged in business; she discloses the objectives and stages of the realization of the National plan of actions and state programmes concerned with elevation of the status and role of women in Tajikistan as well. The problems of involving women in social-economic life of the republic are canvassed; the role and place of women on labour market‚ engagement of women in shuttle business, wholesale and retail trade being taken into consideration as well. The author generalizes certain information in regard to the contribution of business ladies into the development of the economy of the republican regions.
