The author of the article explores scientific approaches of different economy schools towards regulation of ecologico-economic relations. He substantiates the problems of interrelations between ecology and economy. He disclоses the reasons of contradictions between economic development and ecologic well-being; negative influence of economic growth upon the environment being taken into consideration as well. The author moves the arguments proving that the increase of extraction of natural resources and intensification of their exploitation can accelerate the processes of ecologic degradation. In so far as the society develops, there rises the necessity of studying the issues of regulation of ecologico-economic relations in the system of world economy. The basic streamlines of state strategy in reference to the issue in question are outlined. The principle trend in the work of statal bodies related to ecology service should be a promotion to a creation of outfits providing environmental protection and further stimulation of their activities.
