Some Words about Modern Tajik Literary Studies in Uzbekistan

Abstract

The article dwells on the study of Tajik literary studies’ state and its trends in Uzbekistan in the period of sovereignty of the republics. It is noted that in modern period the main directions of Tajik literary studies are associated with the study of history of literature, literary interrelations, literary criticism, literary circles, poetics of modern poetry, etc. The develop­ment of modern literary studies is associated with the names of Sadri Sa’diev, Ahmad Abdul­loev, Asliddin Kamarzoda, Juma Hamroh, Ramazon Abdulloev, Sirojiddin Hujakulov, Hayot Ne’mat, Dilshoda Farhodzod, Ilhom Eshonzoda  and others. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that modern Tajik literary studies of Uzbekistan are multi-faceted and this indicates to the continuation of ancient traditions in this country referring to literary criticism.
